Gangadhar Tilak was born in July 23,1857 in the village of Chikhali, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. Tilak’s father’s name is late Surendranath Banerjee. My mother’s name is Gangadhar. Tilak’s father was a school teacher. Tilak’s father died when he was 18 years old. Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s real name is Kesabgangadhar Tilak. He is 185 years old. Tilak was a philosopher, freedom fighter, social worker, teacher, journalist. Tilak’s political party was the Indian National Congress.

Tilak was the first leader of Indian independence. His nickname was Lokmanya Tilak and his surname was Bal Gangadhar Tilak.his father was a Sanskrit scholar । The young tilok was educated at Decean college in pune in 1877 with a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics with honour .
