MIRABAI CHANU WINS INDIAN’S FIRST MEDAL IN TOKYO

Mirabai Chanu is an Indian weight lifter . She born in 8 August 1994 in Manipur. Since 2014 she has been constantly performing in international in the 48 kg of weight category. Over the years Mirabai haswon world championship and multiply medals at the common wealth games.

She was awarded Padma Shri by India govt.
Mirabai had won the silver medal in the woman’s 48kg weight class at the 2014 Commonwealth games,her biggest achievment came in 2017 when she won the gold medal at world weightlifting championships held in Anaheim, California.

Tokyo Olympics as Mirabai Chanu won a
silver in the 49kg weightlifting category
